This listing is intended to include all irises that belong to the 32-chromosome PPPP fertile family, by virtue of being purely or essentially Iris pumila in ancestry. There is unavoidable uncertainty and arbritrariness in a list of this type, given incomplete parentage information, and the occasional non-pumila ancestor deemed remote enough to not effect the breeding behavior of the iris in question. This list is thus not meant to be definitive, but rather provides a starting place for acquiring a collection of pumilas or for interpreting pedigrees. Additions or corrections are welcome.
